I know the feeling from my own experience.

With my tutoring services you are guaranteed to make the most efficient use of your available time. Choose from one on one tutoring, or small classes, so the lessons are relaxed and things are explained to you so that we ensure you are making satisfactory progress. Think of me like your personal trainer for aviation theory !

As most tutoring is conducted as one on one, I can come to you ! Ideally in your home or office. Travel time is included for the Sydney metro and Illawarra. Travel to other areas is possible by arrangement or you could consider travelling to Sydney and staying for an appropriate length of time to complete your tutoring.

Everyone is at a different stage with their study. As a result I vary the pace of each session to suit your needs, devote extra time to the areas that you are struggling with and don’t waste your time on the areas you already know well. As we progress, we can decide together how many further sessions you would like to do.

Yes. My tutoring is based around helping you work through all the topics in the regular text books, Bob Tait or Aviation Theory Centre. These text books are written very well and with the CASA syllabus foremost in mind. I highly recommend the use of the CASA VFRG for study purposes. (RPL, PPL, CPL & NVFR.) And it is required for the PPL exam. It is also an invaluable guide for your practical training.

Some subjects also require navigation equipment, charts and CASA & Airservices Publications. Most of these products are available from Concept Aviation at Bankstown Airport, online, or I can supply you with these products if you require them.

I will travel to and from you as part of the included cost for one on one tutoring.

As required, I will supply exercises, notes and other written material.

RPL & PPL students will be given access to Online Practice exams.

If you are not yet a student of Sydney Aviation Theory, you can purchase a practice exam here.

With all tutoring, we can start your subject now. I can come to your home or office. If you would like to reserve a date and time that suits your schedule, or come along to our classes on Thursday night or Saturday morning.  Make A Booking. as soon as you can.

Sydney Aviation Theory supplies you with all the course notes and a workbook needed for your subject. Different subjects require different reference documents and CASA only permits certain documents to be taken into exams, again, it depends on the subject. I will confirm with you what you should have when I know what subject you are doing. A text book on the subject you are doing is of course a big help. Either Aviation Theory Centre, Bob Tait or Dyson-Holland.

The prices include my travel within the Sydney Metropolitan area and most areas of Wollongong. If you can’t make it to Sydney for tutoring I am happy to travel further by arrangement with travelling costs added by arrangement.
